Description:The Glock 17 is a standard service issue 9mm handgun. Its clip holds 17 rounds initially but can be upgraded to 35. It has semi and full auto firing settings. Allowing short bursts and shredding power. It has a detachable targetting system and

History: The Glock 17 is standard issue handgun for all S.T.A.R.S. officers. Each officer is outfitted with a handgun for conventional use. Heavier firepower is given out on a basis of situation hazards. But for everyday use the officers carry the Glock.

For the game Chris first appeared in it was the first weapon available. My research concludes that it was standard issue for S.T.A.R.S. during that game. It changed from game to game.

I'd rather have a Sig Sauer anyday. Higher caliber and faster trigger action.
